South Korea Music Industry Forms AI Coalition

After KOMCA president Lee Si-ha took office, South Korea’s six major music rights organizations formed the K-Music Rights Organization Mutual Growth Committee and issued a joint declaration protecting 'human creation.' The group demands bans on unauthorized AI training, creation transparency, and new AI-era standards, and plans a blockchain-based ledger linking ISWC, ISRC, YouTube Content ID and UCI to enable real-time royalty tracking.
