Interorganizational Collaboration Enables Iterative CDSS Implementation

A 2026 exploratory case study analyzed how the Dutch Gezonde zorg, Gezonde regio (GzGr) interorganizational collaboration developed and implemented a clinical decision support system (CDSS), using 15 semistructured interviews, documents, and expert input. Researchers identified two sustaining mechanisms—an interorganizational value model and iterative co-creative experimentation—that aligned stakeholders, validated value, and enabled ongoing refinement across organizations. Findings offer practical guidance for scalable CDSS implementation.
