Union Minister Promotes AI-Led Transformation For Punjab

On March 2, Union Minister Dr Jitendra Singh addressed the Chandigarh Dialogue in Mohali, urging a technology-driven transformation for Punjab focused on AI in agriculture, water infrastructure and entrepreneurship. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for reviving the Shahpur Kandi project and called for completion of river-based irrigation works to expand coverage. The minister also stressed education reforms and community action to counter drug abuse and strengthen livelihoods.
