Microsoft Partners With Starlink To Expand Connectivity

Microsoft on Tuesday announced a partnership with SpaceX’s Starlink and a Kenyan internet service provider to bring Starlink satellite connectivity to 540 community hubs across Kenya. The company said the collaboration combines low-Earth orbit satellite links with community deployment models, announced on Microsoft’s blog, and aims to expand digital access. The move signals Microsoft’s willingness to work with Elon Musk’s firms despite his legal dispute with OpenAI.
