Apple Accelerates Development of AI Wearables

Apple Inc. is accelerating development of three AI-powered wearables — smart glasses, a pendant-style camera pin, and camera-equipped AirPods — according to people familiar with the plans. All devices will link to iPhones and center on an upgraded Siri using visual-context cameras and Google-co-developed models; Apple targets production as early as December and a public glasses release in 2027, while iOS 27 will include a chatbot-like assistant.
