Meta Signs Multiyear Deal Deploying AMD GPUs

Meta on Tuesday announced a multiyear deal with Advanced Micro Devices to deploy up to 6 gigawatts of AMD GPUs and AI-optimized CPUs for its AI data centers, with early MI450 GPU shipments in Helios rack servers beginning later this year. The agreement, part of Meta's $135 billion capital expenditure plan and 30-data-center buildout, broadens AMD's role in hyperscale AI infrastructure.
