Elon Musk Accuses Anthropic Of Data Theft

Elon Musk publicly condemned Anthropic this week, accusing the AI firm of massive training-data theft and hypocrisy after Anthropic alleged Chinese competitors conducted large-scale distillation attacks on its Claude model. Anthropic says DeepSeek, Moonshot AI and MiniMax created more than 24,000 fake accounts and 16 million interactions to copy Claude; the company settled a $1.5 billion copyright suit in September 2025 and faces a $3 billion publisher lawsuit.
