Cloud Providers Integrate RAG Services Into Platforms

Forrester published a report card evaluating its 2025 cloud predictions, saying integrated RAG services became the hottest new cloud offerings as hyperscalers embed vector databases, embeddings, and vector search into Bedrock Knowledge Bases, Azure AI Search and Vertex AI RAG Engine. The firm also found most hyperscalers missed CO2 emissions targets year‑over‑year, with Microsoft as a notable exception, highlighting sustainability challenges for cloud teams.
