Yahoo Launches Scout AI Web Search

Yahoo is rolling out Scout, an AI-powered search portal integrated into Yahoo Search, a standalone web app, and the new Yahoo Search mobile app. Built on Anthropic’s Claude and enriched with Yahoo’s owned content, user data and Microsoft/Bing results, Scout surfaces source links, includes affiliate shopping links and ad units, and aims to guide web discovery while funneling traffic to publishers.
