xAI Loses Second Cofounder in 48 Hours

xAI cofounder Jimmy Ba said he left Elon Musk's AI startup on Tuesday, becoming the second cofounder to depart within 48 hours after Tony Wu's resignation. Six of the company's 12 original founders have now left, five in the past year, amid internal restructurings and product controversies such as Grok's problematic image-generation. The departures coincide with xAI's SpaceX merger and reported IPO plans.
