WordPress.com Enables AI Agents To Write
On Friday Automattic added write capabilities to WordPress.com’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration, enabling AI agents like Claude and ChatGPT to create, edit, and manage site content. The update introduces 19 new operations across six content types, enforces human approval and role permissions, logs actions, and supports theme-aware generation. The feature is available today on all WordPress.com paid plans via the MCP dashboard.
