VIT Integrates AI For Personalized Learning

Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) is integrating artificial intelligence into education for personalised learning, Vice-President Sekar Viswanathan said at The Hindu Tech Summit in Chennai on February 12, 2026. He outlined faculty development in agentic AI and domain-specific uses—IoT, drones, cybersecurity—alongside adaptive curricula, programme migration, hackathons and incubator support. VIT also noted outreach measures for remote students and urged greater government funding to expand access and affordability.
