Visa Reports Asia Pacific AI Shopping Hesitancy

Visa released a YouGov-backed State of Digital Commerce in Asia Pacific study on Feb. 10, 2026, surveying 14,764 consumers across 14 markets. It finds 74% use AI for product discovery but 32% hesitate to share payment data, while 45% would adopt AI commerce with stronger payment security assurances. The report highlights higher caution among affluent and digitally mature markets, and greater openness in India and Vietnam.
