Trump Proposes Dalilah Law And SAVE Act

President Donald Trump delivered a record-breaking 108-minute State of the Union address on Feb. 24, 2026, and the White House reaffirmed his legislative priorities in a post by Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on Feb. 25. He pitched the Dalilah Law to bar states from issuing commercial driver’s licenses to undocumented immigrants and the SAVE America Act to require voter ID, proof of citizenship, and tightly limit mail-in ballots nationwide. These measures would federalize standards in elections and licensing.
