T-Mobile Tests Ericsson Cloud RAN On Nvidia

T-Mobile said it successfully tested Ericsson’s Cloud RAN software running on Nvidia AI infrastructure at its AI-RAN Innovation Center in Bellevue, Washington. The trial demonstrates the same RAN software can run on multiple vendors’ hardware, allowing compute offloading to Nvidia accelerators and increasing deployment flexibility. T-Mobile plans a full demonstration at Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona next month, positioning the carrier for AI-native services.
