Survey of India (SoI) signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with Digital University of Kerala (DUK) on March 2, 2026, to advance academic and research collaboration in geo-informatics, AI/ML for automated feature extraction, geodesy, astronomy and related engineering disciplines. The pact enables joint postgraduate and doctoral supervision, customised training, internships, shared research infrastructure, and a Joint Coordination Committee to oversee activities, aiming to strengthen national geospatial capacity.
