Steve Hilton Launches CAL DOGE Initiative

Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton said on Monday he will launch CAL DOGE, an anti-fraud initiative aiming to uncover at least $250 billion in alleged waste and corruption in California. The project, modeled after Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency, proposes a whistleblower portal, advisory board, a hiring freeze, elimination of 50,000 state jobs and reviews of 21 union contracts.
