SK Broadband Expands AI Data Centers Amid Decline

SK Broadband is shifting strategy after losing about 150,000 pay-TV subscribers last year, pursuing industry cooperation and AI data-center expansion announced March 5. The company joined KT and LG Uplus in a 40 billion won IPTV fund, integrated the A.dot agent (over 100 million uses), and plans an Ulsan AI data center with roughly 60,000 GPUs and a 40 MW first phase in 2027, targeting 1 trillion won annual AI revenue by 2030.
