SDM Oshin Sharma Receives Warning Over Promotion

Shimla Urban sub-divisional magistrate Oshin Sharma has been issued a warning after videos surfaced showing her promoting a private company's fitness products on her social media, officials said Friday. Chief Secretary Sanjay Gupta directed Deputy Commissioner Anupam Kashyap to caution Sharma and investigate potential violations of Rule 15(1) of the Civil Services Conduct Rules and whether posts amounted to paid endorsement. Sharma removed the posts and deactivated her accounts.
