Samsung Updates Bixby With Perplexity Integration

Samsung announced a revamped Bixby arriving with One UI 8.5 and entering testing through the One UI 8.5 beta for Galaxy S25 devices in select markets. The update brings improved contextual, conversational understanding that can change settings directly and surface relevant options, and it integrates real-time web search via Perplexity to provide up-to-date results inside the Bixby UI. Samsung plans a public release with the first stable One UI 8.5 build alongside the Galaxy S26 series in a few weeks.
