SaaStr Builds AI Apps To Replace Tools

SaaStr says nine months into running SaaStr AI, its three-person team and 20+ AI agents have produced 8+ production apps and in the last two weeks built two new applications: an internal AI VP of Marketing and an external Sponsors Portal. The team used Claude Co-work, Replit, and Clerk-based SSO to ingest proprietary data and automate workflows, concluding buy-90%/build-10% still applies but maintenance and security now pose growing challenges.
