Russian Government Expands National Education Infrastructure

President Vladimir Putin presided via videoconference today over the opening of new schools, kindergartens and vocational facilities across multiple Russian regions, with reports from Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin and Industry Minister Anton Alikhanov. He said since 2019 roughly 940 billion rubles have funded construction of over 1,700 new school buildings (more than one million places), nearly 1,700 new kindergartens (248,000 places) and major overhauls of 6,500 schools, and urged vocational reform plus cautious integration of digital platforms and AI.
