Oracle Considers Job Cuts And Cerner Sale

TD Cowen says Oracle could cut up to 30,000 jobs and sell health-tech unit Cerner to ease financing for its $300 billion, five-year OpenAI datacenter build-out. The bank estimates the OpenAI component requires about $156 billion and roughly 3 million GPUs, notes widening CDS spreads and reduced US bank lending, and says options include higher deposits, vendor finance, or $8–10 billion from cuts.
