OpenAI Reaches 900M Weekly ChatGPT Users

OpenAI said Friday that ChatGPT now has 900 million weekly active users and 50 million paying subscribers, putting the chatbot close to 1 billion weekly users. The company said January–February are on track to be its largest months for new subscribers and reported faster responses and improved safety. OpenAI also disclosed a still-open $110 billion private funding round valuing the company at $730 billion.
