OpenAI Launches Codex Security Research Preview

OpenAI introduced Codex Security in research preview on March 6, rolling it out to ChatGPT Enterprise, Business and Edu customers via Codex web with free usage for one month. The agent combines agentic reasoning from frontier models with automated validation to build project-wide context, flag complex vulnerabilities, reduce false positives and provide actionable fixes, aiming to speed remediation in enterprise pipelines.
