OpenAI Launches ChatGPT for Excel With GPT-5.4

OpenAI has released ChatGPT for Excel, a beta add-in powered by the new GPT-5.4 Thinking model that embeds advanced AI into Microsoft spreadsheets to automate tasks like three-statement modeling and scenario analysis. The launch includes integrations with Moody's, S&P Global, Dow Jones Factiva and LSEG and a US/Canada/Australia beta for Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users. OpenAI confirmed Enterprise data will not be used to train their AI models.
