OpenAI Introduces Ad-Supported ChatGPT Pricing Tiers

OpenAI is rolling out an ad-supported ChatGPT option alongside ad-free subscriptions and new pricing tiers as of January 2026. The lineup ranges from a free ad-supported plan and Go ($8) to Plus ($20), Pro ($200), Business ($25/user annually) and custom Enterprise, with ads shown at the bottom of responses and an initial CPM test near $60 per 1,000 impressions. Marketers will face limited conversion tracking early on.
