OpenAI Exposes China's Cyber Operations Targeting Critics

On Wednesday OpenAI published a report detailing China's "cyber special operations" that target critics domestically and abroad, after removing a ChatGPT account tied to the Chinese government. The report documents a large-scale effort with at least hundreds of staff, thousands of fake accounts, AI-generated images and forged court documents used across scores of platforms, prompting removals and platform investigations.
