OpenAI Considers Dropping ChatGPT Unlimited Plans

OpenAI's head of ChatGPT, Nick Turley, said on the Bg2 Pod on Sunday that the company expects to change ChatGPT pricing and may drop "unlimited" subscription plans as usage and compute costs surge. Turley said OpenAI is exploring metered pricing and experiments like advertising to broaden access while industry players increasingly adopt per-token or per-agent billing models.
