MSI Integrates GPU Safeguard+ Into Afterburner
MSI released an Afterburner update today that brings GPU Safeguard+ to the public, integrating with its MPG Ai1300TS and MPG Ai1600TS smart power supplies. The update uses a new PSU.dll plugin to read PSU telemetry and trigger a pop-up warning or automatically cut GPU power to 75% on overheat, and it also adds support for the RTX 5090 LIGHTNING series.
