Middle East Companies Accelerate Reinvention, Reveal Readiness Gap

At the World Economic Forum in Davos 2026, Omar Boulos of Accenture presented Pulse of Change survey data showing 82% of C-suite leaders expect greater disruption in 2026 and that 82% of Middle Eastern organisations accelerated reinvention last year. He highlighted a 24-percentage-point leader–employee readiness gap, only 9% redesigning roles for AI, $72bn regional digital spend, and urged scaling agentic AI plus reskilling.
