Micron Releases 3610 Gen5 QLC SSD

Micron unveils the 3610 SSD, a PCIe Gen5 client drive using 9th-gen QLC NAND and a Phison E31 controller, available in 1–4TB capacities with a reviewed 2TB 2280 model. Micron rates 11,000 MB/s sequential reads and up to 9,300 MB/s writes with up to 1.6M IOPS, while a DRAM-less HMB design improves power efficiency but reduces sequential read performance in LLM loading tests.
