Mastercard Expands Start Path To Agentic Commerce

Mastercard on Jan. 20 expanded its Start Path startup program to include agentic commerce and services, the company said in a press release. The new track will focus on agent platforms, agent-native tools and emerging agentic payment flows, and Mastercard said it has joined Google's Universal Commerce Protocol and is integrating Mastercard Agent Pay with Microsoft Copilot Checkout. Start Path supports startups with network access and collaboration opportunities.
