Maharashtra Launches AI Agriculture Investment Summit

Maharashtra government will hold a two-day global Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture and Investment Summit, 'AI for Agri 2026,' on February 22–23 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, and has approved ₹500 crore in Phase I to implement its Maharashtra Agriculture–Artificial Intelligence Policy 2025–2029. The state established an institutional AI and agritech center and will build MahaAgriX, AI-enabled traceability, geospatial intelligence, and farmer advisory platforms, partnering with WEF, FAO, World Bank, IISc, and others.
