Livspace Cuts 1,000 Jobs With AI

Livspace laid off 1,000 employees (about 12% of its workforce) over the past six months after integrating advanced AI agents across sales, operations, design and marketing, the company said. Cofounder and India CEO Saurabh Jain also resigned after helping build the company’s AI avatar. The move signals strategic resource reallocation toward automated systems to improve long-term customer outcomes.
