Korean Battery Makers Target Robot Power Markets

South Korea's Samsung SDI, SK On and LG Energy Solution are accelerating efforts to enter the robot battery market, expanding partnerships with Hyundai Motor Group, Tesla and other robotics firms, industry sources reported Feb. 3, 2026. At CES 2026, Hyundai showcased humanoid and delivery robots using cylindrical and all-solid-state batteries tied to recent MOUs and supply agreements. Companies say the push addresses rising demand for high-performance robot batteries.
