Kiwis Express Growing Concern Over Internet And AI

A recent InternetNZ study found 72% of New Zealanders believe the internet's positives outweigh negatives, down from 90% in 2019, even as nearly half spend four or more hours online daily. The survey also found 60% use AI weekly while 68% are very or extremely concerned about AI-generated harmful content; InternetNZ urged clearer government policy on unregulated AI risks.
