Kathleen Kennedy Receives Honor From Sound Editors

Kathleen Kennedy received an honorary award from the Motion Picture Sound Editors at the Golden Reel Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday, praising American sound designers and recounting techniques from films like E.T. and Raiders. Kennedy said she greenlit and produced the upcoming May release The Mandalorian & Grogu, confirmed Grogu will not speak, and reflected on handing Lucasfilm leadership to Dave Filoni and Lynwen Brennan in January.
