Indonesia Pushes AI Adoption Toward Economic Value

Indonesia's Communication and Digital Minister Meutya Hafid said on Tuesday that while AI adoption reaches 92 percent, its productive use remains limited. The government launched the Garuda Spark Innovation Hub and partnerships, citing a digital economy worth US$80 billion and projected to exceed US$130 billion by 2025, aiming to convert technology into economic value and bolster startups and skills programs.
