India Secures EU FTA Expanding IT Market Access

India's free trade agreement with the European Union secures expanded market access for services and digital trade, the government said, including commercially significant commitments across 144 subsectors such as IT/ITeS, professional and education services. Industry body Nasscom said the deal should ease cross-border delivery for Indian IT exporters, attract greater EU investment and enable joint R&D and GCC-led product development in areas like AI and semiconductors.
