India Launches AI Healthcare Strategy And Testing Platform
Union Health Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda will launch on Feb. 17, 2026 at the India AI Summit two national initiatives: the Strategy for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare for India (SAHI) and BODH, the Benchmarking Open Data Platform for Health AI. Developed by IIT Kanpur with the National Health Authority under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, SAHI defines governance and validation standards while BODH enables privacy-preserving benchmarking on diverse, real-world health data.
