India Boosts Electronics Production And Exports

India's Economic Survey 2025-26 reports that mobile manufacturing incentives and PLI schemes have driven electronics production to Rs 11.3 lakh crore in FY2025 and cumulative mobile production of about Rs 9.34 lakh crore with exports of Rs 5.12 lakh crore through September 2025. The Survey notes electronics exports rose 37.5% in FY'25 and 10 semiconductor manufacturing and packaging projects with Rs 1.6 lakh crore approved, strengthening domestic supply chains.
