India Adopts AI Across Farms And Classrooms

India is seeing accelerating AI adoption across sectors as farmers and educators deploy automation and large language models this week during a five-day AI summit in New Delhi. Examples include a $3,864 AI-enabled automated tractor and coaching academies using ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude to grade exams, while Microsoft and Google pledge $17.5 billion and $15 billion respectively in Indian cloud and AI investments.
