Hindustan Unilever Expands Retailer Digital Ordering
On December 8, 2020 Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL) said its Shikhar app had become a sourcing point for about 300,000 retailers, up from roughly 100,000 a year earlier. The company partnered with State Bank of India to offer instant paperless overdrafts up to Rs.50,000 via YONO, accelerating app adoption during COVID-19 and enabling digital payments and credit for small shops.
