Google Releases Open-Source Workspace CLI gws

Google is releasing gws, a new open-source command-line interface for Google Workspace that lets developers and autonomous AI assistants interact with Gmail, Drive, and Google Calendar. The tool reads Google's Discovery Service, includes more than 40 Agent Skills, acts as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, and integrates with OpenClaw; it is hosted on GitHub but not officially supported.
