GitHub Enhances Copilot Code Review Accuracy

Since April 2024, GitHub reports Copilot code review usage has grown 10x and now accounts for more than one in five pull request reviews. The company says it migrated to an agentic architecture, tuned models for accuracy, signal, and speed, and reports 71% actionable feedback, 5.1 comments per review, an 8.1% uplift in positive feedback, and deployment across 12,000 organizations. These changes aim to surface higher-signal suggestions and reduce noise.
