On January 20, ByteDance announced that its Doubao AI chatbot became the official AI docent for two exhibitions at the Museum of Art Pudong in Shanghai, partnering with MAP to provide real-time interpretation. Doubao uses its Seed 1.8 multimodal model and exclusive MAP data to recognize about 300 Louvre artifacts and 80 Picasso works, offering continuous video perception and context-aware explanations to improve visitor access.
