Delhi Court Bars Unauthorized Ramdev Deepfakes

The Delhi High Court on February 26, 2026 issued an interim order barring unauthorised use and misappropriation of yoga guru Ramdev’s name, image, voice and other personality attributes across all formats and platforms, including AI-generated content and deepfakes. Justice Jyoti Singh found unauthorised videos and social media pages portraying him endorsing products prima facie amounted to misappropriation and commercial exploitation, posing reputational harm.
