Defence Minister Inaugurates BEL Missile Facility
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Feb. 16 inaugurated a Missile Integration Facility at Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) in Bengaluru, flagged off Akash 3rd and 4th Regiment Combat Systems, and unveiled a Mountain Fire Control Radar. He remotely opened BEL’s Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence in Pune and launched the company’s AI policy, emphasising indigenous R&D across air-defence, counter-drone, and networked operations.
