Databricks Launches Custom Agents For Production

Databricks today launched Agent Bricks Custom Agents, formerly Agent Framework, now generally available to build and deploy governed, serverless AI agents without managing infrastructure. The platform provides templates, prebuilt skills, built-in memory powered by Lakebase, CI/CD integration, and enterprise data connectivity to accelerate prototype-to-production workflows. Developers can use existing models and tools while benefiting from unified governance and a serverless runtime.
